Fall Harvest Festival

Even though it’s still hot out, fall it coming! This weekend the Springridge Farm Fall Harvest Festival kicks off. Last year we headed out to the festival with our then foster dog Morris, since this was such a good spot to expose him to so many new experiences (future Dog Guide puppies come with a big check list of things to expose the dog to).

The harvest festival includes a Professional Puppet Show, Wagon Ride to the 5-acre Corn Trail, Spooky Boo Barn Spider Web Climber, Farm Yard Pipe Slides, Access to The Fun Farm Yard: Animal Barn, Giant Sandbox, Corn Trail, Tube Slides, Straw Bale Jumping and Escarpment Lookout, Singing Chicken Show, and Goat Mountain. This is definitely a good place to visit with kiddos, but it is still a lot of fun for just the adults.

Springridge also features a great shop full of lots of home decor, which my in-laws frequent, a cafe with sandwiches, pies, coffee, and other scrumptious baked goods. I have headed there over the summer a number of times to pick up jams, sauces, and more treats than I am willing to admit.

The Fall Harvest Festival is running from Saturday, September 24th through Saturday, October 30th so you have lots of time to check it out 🙂

P.S. how long was my hair here!?  I can hardly believe it used to be this length.
