Fall is here, it’s really here! Break out the blanket scarves, booties, pumpkin everything, cozy knits, and rich colours. One of my favourite ways to incorporate those rich tones into my fall wardrobe is to up my fall beauty game. Over the summer my makeup look is more subdued and natural, but as we head into this cooler, less sunny, weather I like to add a little oomph to my look.
Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics – I love this eye shadow pallet. It has a great mix of light, medium, and dark tones to blend for a beautiful smokey eye, or just use the lighter tones for a more subtle look.
Benefit Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara – I have been using Benefit Cosmetics ‘They’re Real” mascara for a couple years now, and I really liked it, but when I was introduced to the Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara it was love! This mascara makes my lashes look full, long, and curled without looking clumpy or feeling heavy.
Bobbi Brown BB Cream – If you’re anything like me, you don’t love feeling your foundation on your face, so you opt for a tinted moisturizer, or CC/BB cream instead. It can be tough to find the right cream to give you just the right amount of coverage that evens out your complexion while still allowing your skin to breathe. I tried about five different options this year and this one takes the cake.
Tarte Tarteist™ Creamy Matte Lip Paint – I got a sample of this lip paint in Namaste and I LOVEEEE it. I am obsessed with the dark berry colour for fall.
Benefit Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel – Until recently, I was not someone who filled in their brows, or took care of them for that matter. That was until I had my brows shaped and tinted before the wedding. The tint lasted through the honeymoon, and since then I have been keeping up my brows with this gel.
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask – As the weather gets cooler, I often find my skin starts to dry out more. I tend to get a lot of patchy dry spots along my cheeks. Using this water mask twice per week before bed leaves my smooth soft and dewy.
Smashbox 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer – Ya’ll NEED this. If you wear eye shadow, or even if you just wear liner, you will want to get this stuff. I have tried a bunch of eye shadow primer options and this one is by-far the best! When I purchased it there was a sign up claiming that you could wear it for an entire day, even to the gym, and it would last. I tested that claim, and though my makeup wasn’t absolutely perfect, it was really freaking good!
Tarte Cheek Stain – For a healthy glowy look, I always reach for a cheek stain. This stain in Sheer Berry Rose leaves you with perfect rosy cheeks.
