I am REALLY excited for Christmas and Holidays. Sadly Josh has to work both Christmas and New Years Eve, which happens to also be his birthday, for a second year in a row, but we make up for it by celebrating on Boxing Day and New Years Day. The nice thing about their work schedule is that we know he will be off for the following six years. For this year, I am working out what to make for our ‘Christmas’ breakfast. If you have any recommendations for delicious waffles, I am all ears! My family has a tradition of making waffles and I am trying to bring it into our home.
Between now and then, we have a handful of parties to attend and I have already started planning out all my outfits, complete with lots of red, green, and white, with some sequins mixed in there for good measure. During this time of the year I always find myself reaching for my favourite plaid blouses. Whether I am layering them under my favourite cashmere sweaters , which are currently on sale, or dressed up with a pencil skirt for work. With the ruffle detail on this blouse making it more feminine, I decided to pair it with my favourite party skirt for a girly party look. This skirt is no longer available, but there is a very similar option available right now.
I have a fantastic homemade waffle recipe for you !
Ohh! I am excited to try it 🙂
Hi Em, I am Ada. So glad I found your awesome blog. This outfit is adorable for the holidays. I recently ordered a similar white midi skirt. I need that pretty J.Crew blouse, too. Looking great!
I welcome you to stop by and join my latest linkup with this beautiful outfit. Thanks lady and enjoy the first weekend of December!
