Happy Friday! I hope you all enjoyed this short work week. I have been settling in to my new job and learning SO much over this past week, which has made it fly by. Now that the weekend is here, I am ready to curl up in my leggings and big knit sweaters.
This faux leather legging and cardigan combo has been a wardrobe staple for me lately. I love that I can wear either of these pieces to elevate a casual outfit or pair them together with a simple white blouse for an incredibly comfortable, yet still professional, outfit. Though I am a lover of colour, I have been trying to find more neutral staples into my wardrobe, to get more millage out of my pieces, thinking more about cost per wear and the true value/cost of each item. It is so easy to get wrapped up in buying every cute thing I see posted online or found in store, which can lead to a very full closet and very empty wallet, along with feelings of inadequacy when you can’t keep up with every fashion post you see on Instagram. It’s a very slippery slope. So, as part of my New Years resolution, I am going to try and show you a mix of fun/cute pieces that are great for special occasions, as well as a solid mix of pieces that you can really get your money’s worth out of, starting with these faux leather leggings which are on sale for under $20!
If you have any requests for things you want to see here this year (more fashion posts, hair tutorials, work-wear, lifestyle posts, recipes etc.) leave them in the comments below 🙂
