Snowy Days

Classic Grey Coat-9.jpg

Wool Coat (Not available in grey, but now under $100!) Grey version| Black Tissue Turtleneck | Black Skinny Denim | Black Quilted Hunter Boots (these have a light layer of lining that is perfect for these snowy days) | Pink Fedora | Purse (under $50!)

I realize this is a bit of a departure from all the colours I’ve had lately, but I just had to share this wool-blend coat! The detailing and structure on this beauty are amazing and the navy blue and army green options are on sale for under $100. I also wanted to share these quilted Hunter boots again as they are hands-down the best thing I purchased this year. These boots are unlike the usual Hunter boot because they have a little lining in them that keeps your feet warm (I’m comfortable in them until it goes below -10 Celcius) without needing a boot sock. I realize they are a bit of an investment piece, but the cost per wear on these isn’t going to be much. I have already worn mine at least 40 times since getting them in October.

Pastels in Winter

Similar Powder Blue Coat (budget friendly option) | Pink Lace Blouse | White Skinny Denim | Blush Love Crossbody | Grey Booties | Similar Necklace

Does anyone else find that they get the post-holidays blues? Every year I am so excited for the holidays and once they’re done I realize there is a whole lot more winter to come, without the parties and celebrations to make it cheerful. Once that realization starts to set in, I start pulling out my bright and pastel pieces to give me a little taste of what’s to come in the spring. I love being able to put a smile on someones face when they notice someone wearing something other than black or grey (not that there’s anything wrong with that) during this, often dreary, season.
